These are from character design assignments, in which we had to design beak and muzzle characters and draw poses with them:
And a pantomime scenario assignment in which we needed to show a character caught in the act of going for an item he is not supposed to have.

hahaha!! i LOVE these!! Beak kinda looks like a super pissed Roger Ebert. great to see more of yer artwork again Amir!
Thanks man, Glad you like it~!
Cool stuff! Nice to see some school assigments. Looks like a fun assignment.
yep I love em!!! hey, have you seen some of my new digitally inked drawings?
lol so good amir. both characters are really amazing and orignal. I love how the ears form the hair of the muzzle character and how loose you have designed the beak, very impressed as always.
Hahaha Amir, that's hilarious! I love it. Nice caricatures! The PCBeak is funny as frig.
The curves on your MacMuzzle are looking pretty even, though. Don't lose your asymmetries!
Haha Geeze, I have to take another look at these. Your PC guy is hilarious.
Haha I just caught their names "Bill Vista" (hilarious!) and MacMuzzle.
That sequence you have of Billy Vista trashing his PC is awesome. WHY AREN'T YOU DOING A WEEKLY COMIC STRIP!?
Great posing on the pantomime assignment.
...and Mac rules!
Some very expressive work in this one, really nice job!
Nicely done, Amir--I was thinking, "man that duck looks like John Hodgman", before I even saw the video link.
Thanks for the kind words everyone!
I really enjoyed seeing this as your animal assignment, Amir. You certainly do have a flair for capturing the essence of someone by distilling their likeness down into a few telling features. This is why the art of caricature has been such a fascination for me too all through my life's artistic pursuits. There is something completely mysterious as to why something works, despite taking great liberties with reality. it remains magical to me.
Cool Amir,
Right back at ya!
Love the beak muzzle smackdown.
Thanks Pete,
I think that caricature, and art in general lends itself to how we look at things, rather than how things really are.
Anthony- Thankie
